I worked as Senior Architect in Edo Rocha Arquiteturas during the production of the Masterplan of the new TV RECORD Headquarters in Barra Funda, São Paulo. Using the existing facilities as a starting point, the scheme proposed a radical change of use of the existing buildings in order to optimize the production of content. Also as part of the master plan was the construction of new buildings on the then recently acquired adjacent land and properties, including new rental office buildings, a new tower to house the main TV’s offices and news studio and a new big capacity venue for music and theatre productions.
